Stephen's Stringed Instruments

Under Construction --

Many people don't know that Stephen Davies had his own guitar line and shop based in Seattle, Washington called Stephen's Stringed Instruments. These guitars were of extremely high quality and could be built based on custom specs. It is unknown how long the shop lasted. As some may have noticed, much of this information is gathered from the old Stephen's Stringed Instrument website, which has been inactive for some time.

These guitars are quite rare. Very few were made, and they are essentially the start of the bloodline for the SEC. More information to come....

  Model T

4 T-3211.NAM - This hollow-bodied beauty is available with or without an F-hole in a variety of woods.

5 T3111.VAM1 - This classic was a big winner in the "Guitar Player Tele Shootout".

6 T-3115.CUE - The best sparkle finish to be found anywhere! This bound swamp-ash body will get you noticed.

7 T-9111.HBM - A striking flamed-maple top & gorgeous honey burst.

8 T-9771.TBE - A bound maple ten-top with gold hardware. Yum, yum!

2S-2122.BKM - A light Alder body with a vintage trem.

EC 26 Prototype:

Before the Washburn EC26s, Davies made EC26s fully developed and created in his factory. Below are some pictures of them.
